Anyway, upon writing this entry, I was curious why it was called a piggy bank.. Here's what I found from the wikipedia:
"Piggy bank (sometimes penny bank or money box) is the traditional name of a coin accumulation and storage receptacle; it is most often, but not exclusively, used by children. The piggy bank is known to collectors as a "still bank" as opposed to the "mechanical banks" popular in the early 20th century. These items are also often used by corporations for promotional purposes. Their shape is most often that of a little pig. Many financial services companies use piggy banks as logos for their savings products."
Anyway, here are the list so far that interest me:
Piggy Bank slash Alarm clock
The alarm will not stop unless you put a coin in it. Swak! This is what I want. However, pano kung wala akong $1 for that specific time that will alarm? :(
Spend - Save Piggy Bank
The unpredictable pivoting tray collects, deflects, and randomly deposits coins in either the “save” or “spend” section. O, dba Win Win.. May pera ka na to spend, may naisave ka pa :)
But since tagtipid ako for now, isang watch box lang muna ang lalagyanan ko ng coins na malapit na mapuno! :)
