Heartbreak

Few things that make my heart break this past few days:

1. My wallet is crying when I bought NEX-5n. After paying, I am not sure if my money was worth it. (well, until now hehehe) Maybe because we own an S95 which is too convenient to carry and the quality of pictures has never disappoint me since Dec 2010. It is not spoiled yet, but I just want to buy a micro 4/3's camera. hahaha! (talk about splurging :P) But like any other girls, I know I will find NEX-5N worth... soon!

2. My Macbook pro of 2 years suddenly displayed a red thin line in its screen. (see post:  MBP... ). I am not prepared yet to replace it - because I don't have money to spend. =(

3. THE MOST HEARTBREAKING EVENT was... when I woke last Friday, I noticed there's a big hole in my 17 years blanket!!! Oh yes! The blanket has been with me since 1995, and it has been serving me well. It is my security blanket - saw me grew up, all my tears and laughter, it went with me in all my overnight projects since high school, been with my travel, overseas and local. I have accepted that it is torn out in its side, but with in the middle.. No!!! I can't let go of the blanket yet :(

I tried to go for a retail therapy last weekend but it did not help. Been to Bugis, suntec and orchard, was not able to buy something. There was also a food fair in Takashimaya, Paul and I strolled around and that didn't help as there seems nothing that interest me.

Nevertheless, with all these heartbreaks I am into right now, I managed to learn how to make leche flan. Not really a fan, but I'm happy that I was able to make one. =) Hello Tonsilitis! :P (Click here for the recipe that I followed).
